This marks the first Nintendo Direct of the year, and the first Direct focused on multiple games since last September, which saw the announcement of Kirby and the Forgotten Land, the Nintendo Switch Online expansion pass, and more.
In October, we also got broadcasts to announce Sora coming to Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, and an Animal Crossing: New Horizons Direct showing off the DLC and last update. In December, we also got an Indie World broadcast.
It's not clear what the broadcast will bring, but here's what we expect from Nintendo in 2022.
