The Original Diablo is Now Playable on Your Web Browser

The original 1996 Diablo is playable now right on your computer’s web browser.

The browser port of the original Diablo was developed by Rivsoft, a team of developers who work on several Blizzard-related projects. However, the port would not be possible were it not for the work of a development team who in 2018 reconstructed the original source code for Diablo.

GalaXyHaXz and the Devilution team reverse-engineered the source code for the original Diablo last year in 2018. The project was meant to be archival, so the source code was reconstructed with all the bugs and bad code from the original 1996 version.

Papa Roach Concert Reportedly Used Stolen Video Game Artwork for a Poster

Papa Roach, the nu-metal band known for their hit song “Last Resort,” is accused of using stolen art from a video game for one of its tour posters without the permission from the developers.

Papa Roach’s official Facebook page posted a picture of a tour poster used to promote the band’s recent performance at the South Side Ballroom in Dallas, Texas. The poster features a reddish fish monster looking at her phone with Papa roach and opener Asking Alexandria’s name on the front. The name of the venue is also printed along the bottom.

What the Game Boy Means to Me, 30 Years Later

In 1992, my grandmother, my cousin and I were in a mall someplace in Bromley, Kent, England. At eight years old I was developing a burgeoning appreciation for visiting the mall with my grandmother; as a New Zealander who visited her in the UK once a year, she had a tendency to spoil me. During this particular mall visit, my cousin told her he wanted a Game Boy, Nintendo’s handheld console that had been released in Europe a couple of years prior. I didn’t know what a “Game Boy” was at that time, but I knew that if my cousin wanted one, then I wanted one too.

The Game Boy, an innocuous purchase for a kid who only really wanted one out of FOMO, changed my life.

Madden NFL 20 Review

With every new Madden comes a new set of upgrades and disappointments, but Madden NFL 20’s balance is a bit more favorable than usual. Among the new features are a couple of key changes that underscore the difference between a typical player and a true NFL superstar in meaningful and exciting ways, making the moment-to-moment gameplay as strong as it’s been since the switch to Xbox One and PlayStation 4. On the other hand, it leaves Franchise mode without significant new features and microtransactions continue to be an issue with Madden Ultimate Team. So EA’s ongoing quest to satisfy the entire spectrum of casual, competitive, and sim fans is only partially successful, though more so than usual.

Monster Hunter World: Iceborne - New Monster Impressions and Gameplay

Subspecies aren't totally new to Monster Hunter World, but they're making a comeback to the series in a big way in the upcoming Iceborne expansion. We recently got to play the beginning of Iceborne, and some of the first few monsters we faced were three brand-new monsters: Nightshade Paolumu, Coral Pukei-Pukei, and Viper Tobi-Kadachi! They may look familiar, but these subspecies are more than just a reskin.

We also noticed at least nine exciting quality-of-life improvements in Iceborne, but continue on to see gameplay of each new monster with hands-on impressions and comparisons to each of their parent species.

9 Exciting Improvements in Monster Hunter World: Iceborne

Monster Hunter World’s upcoming Iceborne expansion brings some big changes and bigger monsters. But while cool new tools like the Clutch Claw have likely already caught your eye, there are tons of less flashy tweaks that will probably make seasoned hunters yell “YES FINALLY” with the same level of enthusiasm.

We got to play through the first few hours of Iceborne last week, and while you can watch us take on three of its new subspecies monsters here, these little quality-of-life improvements really stuck out. There are surely plenty more, but here of nine of the most exciting tweaks we've seen saw so far - be sure to watch the video at the top of the page to see them in action!

EA Explains Why It Offers Limited Nintendo Switch Support

EA CEO Andrew Wilson has opened up on why the publisher offers limited support for Nintendo Switch, saying it's because people prefer to play EA games on other platforms.

During EA's first quarter earnings call this week an analyst floated the idea for The Sims on Switch, but EA's head honcho disagreed.

“Any time we’re evaluating platform conversations we’re really looking at a couple of things,” said Wilson. “One, does the game really fit the profile of that platform in terms of the control or the community ecosystem? Two, do we think the community playing on that platform would appreciate the game and go there, or would they prefer to play it somewhere else?

“We have a lot of data that would suggest a great many Switch owners also own a PlayStation 4 or an Xbox One or a PC and very often choose to play the games that we make on those platforms, even though they have a Switch and they enjoy a lot of great content on the Switch."

FIFA 20: The FUT Changes That Actually Matter

Unsurprisingly, Ultimate Team is back for another year in FIFA 20, complete with its familiar addictive squad building, plethora of game modes and microtransactions - or “surprise mechanics” as they are now known. These aspects aren’t changing, for better or worse, but what actually IS new this year? Here are what we think are the biggest changes to FUT in FIFA 20.

Season Objectives

“A new sense of progression” is apparently crucial to FUT this year and key to that are the new Season Objectives. EA hope that these will have the same impact on the game mode that Squad Building challenges did when introduced in FIFA 17. Essentially these work similar to a battle pass system - you earn XP for completing challenges, which will move you up into higher levels, thus earning better rewards.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare: Why Killstreaks Are the Right Move

Announced in a lead-up to a full multiplayer premiere this Thursday, killstreaks are officially back in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare. I, for one, relish their return. It’s a controversial topic, one with supporters on either side defending the validity of playing an objective versus rewarding raw shooter skill. But killstreaks inherently speak to the spirit of the Call of Duty series: a fast-paced arena where personal performance is the primary metric to judge a player’s success.

Scorestreaks, introduced in Black Ops II, rewarded players for completing objectives, destroying enemy equipment, and resupplying allies. Killstreaks, as the name would suggest, only rewarded you for getting kills. Playing the objective may be the law of the land in Battlefield but Call of Duty, to me, has always felt more like a vain expression of my own shooter skill than it has a game about teamwork... and that’s totally fine.

Concrete Genie Gets an October Release Date

Sony’s next PS4 exclusive, Concrete Genie, following its delay from the spring, now has a release date, setting it for an October release.

Developer PixelOpus, part of Sony’s Worldwide Studios, announced Concrete Genie will be released for the PS4 on Oct. 8 for $29.99, or $39.99 for the Digital Deluxe edition. Both versions include two PSVR modes alongside the main game, and the Digital Deluxe version includes a digital art book, a soundtrack, a Pond Design Pack that expands your in-game toolset, and a Dynamic Theme.

In addition to the price and date, PixelOpus also confirmed Concrete Genie, like most Sony first-party games, will have an included Photo Mode. But given that players’ artistic expression, painting scenery and genies on the buildings of the fictional town of Denska, Pixelopus’ Photo Mode has a twist.

Concrete Genie: Time to Put This PS4 Exclusive on Your Radar

Concrete Genie may not be on your radar like The Last of Us Part II and Death Stranding, but after an hour-and-a-half with Pixelopus’s upcoming first-party PS4 exclusive, its charming world, sincere messaging, and serene gameplay is shaping up to be an experience that absolutely should be.

I jumped into the very start of Concrete Genie’s adventure, taking on the role of the young, bullied kid Ash in the dilapidated seaside town of Denska, and was immediately taken by the charming though intentionally drab world. That’s in part thanks to Pixelopus’ animation, which employs Coraline-esque stop-motion facial expressions for its characters, the A Series of Unfortunate Events-like world, and the sincerity with which the developers have written this story.

Mutant Year Zero: Seed of Evil DLC Review

Mutant Year Zero: Seed of Evil, the downloadable expansion to last year’s surprisingly challenging XCOM-esque tactics RPG Mutant Year Zero: Road to Eden, is an expansion in its simplest, most direct form: there’s simply more of it. While Seed of Evil makes tweaks and changes to the original formula, they feel very safe and don’t do as much to evolve the gameplay as one might have hoped.

Picking up where Road to Eden left off, Seed of Evil advances the overarching Mutant Year Zero story but quickly pulls a bait-and-switch by diverting to a new, self-contained mystery where your party of mutant stalkers fights an army of plant-based clones threatening the last vestiges of humanity. While I got a bit of proverbial whiplash from the quick, jerky nature Seed of Evil wrestles out of Road to Eden’s cliffhanger ending, the story ultimately does a good job creating some new mystique in a world you’ve already explored.

Fallout 76's First 'Very Challenging' Raid Arrives Next Month

Fallout 76 is continuing to beef up its live-service gaming options with the introduction of its first four-player raid next month.

Called "Vault 94", the first raid can also be played solo, in pairs, or groups of three - but the difficulty will be much harder.

During a panel at QuakeCon 2019 panel, Fallout 76 development director Chris Mayer said, "It's a pretty expansive Vault. We do think it will be very challenging. I, myself, have been challenged in the playtest - many times - trying to get to the end of it".

Mayer also went into further detail on what actually happens once you enter Vault 94.

"When you go in, you get to choose one of three different difficulty levels", he said. "The first one is called Novice, and when you go in, it's still very difficult - don't get me wrong - but it's probably a good way to get used to the Vault and the puzzles and how to handle it.

Cyberpunk Red's Jumpstart Kit Is the Best Way to Get Into the Game

With tabletop games making a huge resurgence in the past couple of years, it’s great to see not just more TRPG representation in pop culture, but also that tabletop developers are working to make their games more accessible to a wider audience than ever before. With the renewed interest in its world thanks to Cyberpunk 2077, it’s especially good to see the team at R. Google Stadia, Australia and the Impending Game-Streaming War

The future may well prove that OnLive was ahead of its time. Like Timothy Dalton’s serious Bond take before Daniel Craig, or Boss before House of Cards, OnLive may have been that necessary sacrificial trailblazer whose death leads to the next down-the-track leap.

For those unaware, OnLive was the first game-streaming service of note. It’s now gone the way of the dodo, but the idea was as straightforward then as it is today for surviving services: instant on. No need to physically own a game. No need for a high-end PC or the latest console. Just a compatible device and a high-speed internet connection.

The catch is that game-streaming services require adequate, stable bandwidth to be playable.

Fire Emblem: Three Houses' Voice Actor Replaced in Fire Emblem Heroes

Chris Niosi, the voice actor of the male protagonist Byleth in Fire Emblem: Three Houses and Fire Emblem Heroes, has been replaced in Heroes following allegations of abuse that have recently surfaced.

As reported by USgamer, Niosi still remains the voice of Byleth in Fire Emblem: Three Houses for the Nintendo Switch as of this writing, but Zach Aguilar has replaced him in Fire Emblem: Heroes.

We have reached out to Nintendo as it has yet to comment or confirm that this was the cause of the change, but this move does follow a Twitter thread and Tumblr post that allege that Niosi has, among other things, been abusive and has broken many Non-disclosure agreements in the past.

Bethesda Is Fixing That Unintentional Doom Re-Release Xbox Glitch

Some owners of the digital versions of Doom and Doom II originally released on Xbox 360 and currently backward compatible on Xbox One, were surprised today to find that, with the release of Doom, Doom II, and Doom III on modern consoles, those versions of their purchases were unavailable to re-download. This games' disappearances, were not, however, an intentional move to force you to buy the new Doom versions, and Bethesda is working to make sure anyone who has purchased those games can continue to redownload them despite the error.

The Most Batsh*t Insane Moments in The Wolfenstein Series

Now that Wolfenstein: Youngblood is out in the wild, we decided it would be a good time to round up the most batsh*t insane moments in MachineGames’ Wolfenstein series so far, which was a hard task considering the series is known for being, well, batsh*t insane in general.

Spoilers ahead.

Hitler’s Appearance in the Wolfenstein 2: The New Colossus

I’m not sure there’s ever been a more repulsive character in the rebooted Wolfenstein series than Hitler, which is fitting of course, as he was an incredibly repulsive man in real life. Nonetheless, that didn’t make his pissing, puking, murdering actions in the New Colossus any less disturbing. - Lucy O'Brien

Wolfenstein: Youngblood Ending Explained

The end of Wolfenstein: Youngblood takes the series in what is potentially a very exciting new direction. Spoiler warning...

Now, let’s dig in.

Twin sisters Jessica and Sophia Blazkowicz, daughter of the series’ iconic protagonist B.J. Blazkowitz, spend most of their time in Youngblood looking for their missing father. At the same time, they help the French Resistance in a Nazi-occupied Paris to get rid of the Nazis who have still occupied the country since World War 2.

Two of these French Resistance members are Juju and Jacques, who act as your comrades throughout most of the game. However, once you’ve hacked all the main computers in several nazi towers - your initial goal in Youngblood - their true nature is revealed.

Kill la Kill The Game: IF Review

At first glance, Kill la Kill The Game: IF passes the fighting game smell test. With sharp cel-shaded cutscenes, including loving recreations of critical moments from the beloved Hiroyuki Imaishi anime series and the endorsement of its animation studio Trigger, developer APlus and publisher Arc System Works want you to see and get excited about the prospect of an authentic, official Kill la Kill game. Unfortunately, authenticity isn’t everything. Kill la Kill The Game: IF feels like a stripped-down version of the prototypical 3D anime fighter. Its loose, mashy fighting fails to create the opportunities for strategic depth I’ve come to expect in great fighting games. Meanwhile, its story and single-player modes feel less than substantial.

Fire Emblem Devs on If They've Thought About an Advance Wars Sequel

Intelligent Systems, co-developers of this week's Fire Emblem: Three Houses, are of course also known for another renowned Nintendo strategy franchise — Advance Wars. But for fans of the more modern military aesthetic of that series, Intelligent Systems' work on the lengthy Three Houses campaign, and plans for post-launch DLC, hasn't left much room for the developers to consider an Advance Wars follow-up in the near future.

Speaking to IGN ahead of Three Houses launch, Intelligent Systems Director Toshiyuki Kusakihara told IGN the developers "don't even have the time to think about" what they're doing after Three Houses."

“While we can say that we’re working on the DLC and there’s going to be a lot of content

Fire Emblem: Three Houses Review

Before its resurgence in popularity on the 3DS handhelds, there was a time where the Fire Emblem series once lived on home consoles. Twelve years after Radiant Dawn on Wii, Fire Emblem: Three Houses has finally returned to the living room on the Switch, and it’s better than ever. With a vast and open base hub to explore, new ways to turn the tide of battle with your chosen band of colorful characters, and a story that’s as brutal as the choices you’ll have to make on the battlefield, Three Houses is everything I’ve ever wanted in a turn-based strategy game. Its grand adventure is filled with drama and intrigue across whichever of the titular three houses you choose to join, and each brings its own unique perspective. Following just one of these paths from humble beginnings to a full-blown war for dominance took me over 70 hours, and left me hungry for more.

EA Details FIFA 20's Biggest Pro Clubs Changes

Looks aren't all, as players can now choose to play as LF/RF, LM/RM, RWB/LWB positions. These and all other positions will take advantage of the revitalized progression system which will allow you to improve your Pro from his base overall rating of 80.

Wolfenstein: Youngblood Review

Most parents hope that their kids will one day surpass them, but failing that we’ll settle for staying out of prison and not asking for money too often. So if I were in the shoes of legendary run-and-gun shooter protagonist William “BJ” Blazkowicz, I wouldn’t be mad about my twin daughters’ debut performance in Wolfenstein: Youngblood, but I would be disappointed. The young Blazkowiczs' approach to co-op is, on the whole, serviceable but does cramp the style of its inherited trust fund of combat and stealth gameplay. Without a similarly outlandish cast of characters to liven up the alternate-history setting in which Nazis won WWII with the help of fire-breathing robot dogs, it’s perfunctory compared to the extremely high standard set by Wolfenstein 2: The New Colossus.

Gambling Laws Block GTA Online Update In Over 50 Countries

Stringent local laws appear to be blocking Grand Theft Auto Online players in over 50 countries from gambling in the new Diamond Casino update.

The update went live yesterday, but some players soon received in-game notifications that they didn't "have permission" to buy gambling chips to use in the virtual casinos.

The new Diamond Casino runs on in-game cash, which can be purchased with real money. It would seem that developer Rockstar Games feels that the transaction mirrors online gambling too closely to ignore. IGN has reached out to Rockstar for comment.

Reddit users are reporting that they are able to go inside the casinos, but they are blocked from purchasing betting chips. One user wrote, "I launched and headed straight for the new building, and wanted to buy myself some chips for the games.

Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy TV Series Reportedly Coming to Hulu

Douglas Adams’ The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy is reportedly being turned into a television show for the streaming service Hulu.

Deadline is reporting that a television adaptation of the sci-fi comedy series is coming to the streaming service. Carlton Cuse (Lost, Locke & Key) is attached as showrunner and Jason Fuchs (Wonder Woman) is a writer on the series.

We reached out to Hulu for verification, but the company declined to comment.

The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy began as a radio series on BBC Radio 4, which premiered in 1978. Adams adapted the series into a novel in 1979, and The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy was adapted into many different forms since, including a video game and a 2005 feature film.

Wolfenstein's Story Explained

With Wolfenstein Youngblood on the horizon, what better time than now to take a look back at the story of BJ Blazkowicz, and see how Terror Billy earned his nickname and reputation as a Nazi Killing badass, and how we’ve gotten to where we are today.

Here's a breakdown of the plot in Machine Games' two mainline Wolfenstein games, The New Order and The New Colossus.

An Alternate Reality World War 2

The year is 1946, World War 2 is in full effect, and the tide of the war is starting to shift in favor of the Nazis thanks to their sudden and dramatic leap in technology. We're talking near impervious metallic killing machines, robot dogs, death lasers, and all other forms of nastiness.

Pokemon Masters’ Microtransactions Don’t Seem Too Intrusive

Pokemon Masters is a collaboration between DeNA (Fire Emblem Heroes, Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp), Game Freak, and The Pokemon Company that seems to be working surprisingly well. As Pokemon Masters is a free-to-play game, I expected to see a potentially annoying gacha system paired with even more annoying currencies that moderate progression, but was instead met with a cool way to get to better know characters from across the Pokemon universe all in one place — of course, while also battling Pokemon.

Pokemon Masters is an unconventional Pokemon game, but it’s one I’m certainly glad exists. In it, you’ll be able to play what seems to be an interesting story mode where you’ll challenge trainers in three on three battles to earn five badges in an exclusive League reserved for Pokemon Masters on the manmade island of Pasio. It comes complete with its own Pokemon Professor, new villainous squad, and new special battle mechanics that can only be performed in this area. Playing alongside NVC host and resident Pokemon Master Casey DeFreitas, we got to see what DeNA’s next mobile game has to offer all us Pokemon Trainers, and for a mobile game, we were impressed with what we were shown in an hour and more excited for its August 29 release.

Super Mario Maker 2 Course Upload Limit Doubles to 64

The number of courses you can upload in the Super Mario Maker 2 course designer has just been doubled. You can now upload 64 courses, up from 32.

In the “News” tab for Super Mario Maker 2, an important notice from the developers now says that the “maximum number of courses that you can upload has been increased from 32 to 64 courses.”

This means players and course designers can now share more of their work online at any given time. Nintendo also says that it plans to increase the course-upload limit one more time after this, so there’s a chance this number could double again.

Nintendo also announced that over 2 million courses have been uploaded already. That number will likely grow now that the course-upload limit has been raised. Players have been creating some very imaginative Mario levels, and a quick crawl through the Mario Maker subreddit will uncover some hidden gems.

Sam Lake: I Felt 'Detached' From Making of Max Payne Movie

A little more than a decade ago, the Max Payne universe was adapted into a live-action film starring the likes of Mark Wahlberg, Mila Kunis, and rapper Ludacris. It was, to put it mildly, received by fans with as much warmth as one of Max Payne’s many headshot victims. IGN called it “humdrum,” with not one memorable action sequence. Don’t blame anyone working at game studio Remedy Entertainment, though. On this month’s episode of IGN Unfiltered, famed Max Payne 1 and 2 writer Sam Lake, who says Remedy wasn’t “involved in any way,” says he felt “detached” from the making of the film.

Warsaw Is a Grimly Dark, Horribly Factual WW2 Tactics Game

Warsaw is a game in which you play through the entirety of the Warsaw Uprising. There's a very good chance you haven't heard of the Warsaw Uprising. That's probably because, among the tales of victory-against-all-odds that tend to make up western World War 2 school textbooks, it doesn't quite fit in.

In 1944, as the Nazis' grip on power began to slip, the Polish underground resistance mounted a huge operation to liberate Warsaw. After a 63-day battle across the city, the resistance lost, with at least 150,000 civilians killed, and much of the city razed to the ground in retaliation. According to Warsaw producer Krzysztof Paplinski, asking those who do know about the Uprising will generally result in one of two (very different) responses; either it was a glorious act of doomed heroism, or a futile, irresponsible way to get yet more young Poles killed as the war came to a close.

'I Didn't Want To Make A Bad John Wick Game' Says John Wick Hex Creator

The man helming John Wick Hex, Mike Bithell, has admitted he was "cautious" at first about making a John Wick game.

Speaking in a featurette about combat design, he said that when publisher Good Shepherd first came to him with the idea of turning the film franchise into a game, "I didn't believe it at first. I'm a massive action movie fan.

"I was very cautious because I didn’t want to make a bad John Wick game. This is important. This is a franchise that matters".

The John Wick series has made nearly $500 million at the box office, with John Wick 3 Parabellum holding second place for Keanu Reeves’ best opening weekend behind The Matrix Reloaded.

Creating something for such a broad and dedicated fanbase requires attention to detail. Bithell Studios decided "we wanted to build a game and an approach to playing that was completely focused on being John Wick".

The Red Dead Redemption 2 DLC Leak Is Fake, How an Online Prank Went out of Hand

A Red Dead Redemption 2 leak about an alien-themed DLC began spreading online over the weekend. But today, the originator of the leak confessed that it was all a lie, posted to see how easily rumors can spread online.

On Saturday user u/throwaway11113453 published a supposed “leak” he was told by a Rockstar employee friend of theirs in the r/GamingLeaksAndRumours subreddit. Although the leak has been removed by the mods, it essentially proposed the following details:

  1. There is a single-player DLC for Red Dead Redemption 2 in the works centering on Aliens, similar to Red Dead Redemption’s Undead Nightmare DLC.

How Satoru Iwata Saved Earthbound from Development Hell

To this day, Earthbound is a beloved classic that belongs in any “Best RPGs of all time” list – but without help from the late Nintendo President Satoru Iwata, it might have never been finished.

Iwata-san, a book recently published in Japan by Earthbound creator Shigesato Itoi’s company Hobonichi, tells the story of Satoru Iwata’s life, mostly through his own words. While he passed away on July 11 in 2015, the book is a rearrangement of interviews with Iwata that were published on Itoi’s website Hobo Nikkan Itoi Shimbun. The book also includes new interviews with Shigeru Miyamoto and Shigesato Itoi on how they remember Iwata.

And from my play time with a handful of levels — and the new capability to “flood” levels and create an alternate stage to play through — the sequel could very well prove to be an even better fit for the colorful, anthropomorphized world of Yooka and Laylee.

Watch the gameplay video above to see several of Yooka-Laylee and the Impossible Lair’s stages — namely, Gasping Glades, Factory Fright, and Urban Uprise — in both their standard, and “flooded” or “updrafted” forms.

Death Stranding Could Have Starred Keanu Reeves Instead of Mads Mikkelsen

Keanu Reeves' name was floated for a lead role in Death Stranding, but director Hideo Kojima had his heart set on Mads Mikkelsen instead.

Kojima took to the stage at San Diego Comic Con where he revealed, “I originally was recommended Keanu Reeves but I wanted Mads". The recommendation came from none other than Nicolas Winding Refn, who is himself part of the Death Stranding cast, playing Heartman.

The bromance between Mikkelsen and Kojima is well-documented, mostly through Kojima's personal Twitter account. Death Stranding's head honcho frequently immortalises the Danish gymnast-turned-actor in lengthy Twitter threads filled with candid monochrome snaps of Mikkelsen puffing on a cigarette, or staring moodily into the middle distance.

D&D Announces 5th Anniversary Adventure Collection

Wizards of the Coast has announced that they'll be publishing Tyranny of Dragons, a repackaging of early D&D 5e adventures, this coming fall.

The set celebrates the fifth anniversary of Dungeons and Dragons 5th Edition by repackaging Hoard of the Dragon Queen and Rise of Tiamat. These were the first full adventures released for the full rule set (which came out after the D&D 5e Starter Set and its adventure, The Lost Mine of Phandelver). The new release features cover art from artist Hydro74, who has created the art for limited editions of several 5e books.

Surprising No One, Marvel's Avengers Footage Leaks From SDCC

Attendees of the San Diego Comic-Con 2019 Marvel Games Panel were treated to an early look of Square Enix's Avengers game and, surprising no one, the footage has leaked.

This early footage was only meant for those in the room, although Crystal Dynamics did confirm that it will be released to the general public a week after Gamescom this August. However, not everyone obeyed the rules and grainy footage taken on cell phones has leaked to the internet at large.

The footage shows Thor, Iron Man, and Hulk gameplay as they fight on and around the Golden Gate Bridge in San Fransisco during the A-Day celebration, which was mostly the same demo shown behind-closed-doors at E3 2019.

FIFA 20: 5 Gameplay Changes That Actually Make a Difference

Every year FIFA introduces gameplay tweaks and news additions, and in FIFA 20 we’re promised “Authentic Game Flow” and “Football Intelligence”, but what does that actually mean? These are 5 gameplay changes that actually make a difference in FIFA 20.

Pace Is Crucial Again

A common FIFA 19 frustration was how easily slow defenders caught up with much faster attackers. In FIFA 20, an aging Sergio Ramos can no longer catch up with a galloping Leroy Sané on the break; even the terrier-like N’Golo Kanté will struggle, especially if the German knocks the ball in front of him and strides into space. The range of pace between players has been noticeably increased, plus dribbling stats also contribute greater to their speed when in control of the ball. So while Cristiano Ronaldo may not possess the blistering speed he once did, his mesmeric dribbling ability keeps distance between him and a chasing defender.
