Rumours of a KOTOR remake have been swirling for some time, with reports from January 2020 suggesting that the game was in development and would "integrate elements from the first two games in order to bring certain things into the current Star Wars canon." Schreier then tweeted in February of 2020 "if it's really happening, it's not at EA."
