2K has apologized for what it says was a social media hack of its Facebook and Twitter brand accounts, which resulted in offensive and racist comments being posted, according to Eurogamer.
"Social media accounts across the 2K label were compromised early Friday evening," 2K said in a statement. "Unfortunately, offensive material was posted that does not reflect the values of 2K or our partners. We condemn these posts and apologise to everyone offended by the content."
Various brands of 2K’s were impacted, including the WWE 2K, Borderlands, and Civilization official pages.
