Kirby and the Forgotten Land has received a surprise demo, Nintendo announced today.
The demo features the first three levels from Kirby's initial world, offering players a taste of the adventure that some are comparing to The Last of Us and The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild.
Originally announced back in September, Kirby and the Forgotten Land is the pink puffball's first fully 3D adventure — remarkable considering that Nintendo's cuddliest eldritch abomination first debuted way back in 1992. A teaser was released earlier this week showing how Kirby will explore this new world.
Among its new features is the ability for Kirby to devour a whole car and become "Carby," which quickly became a popular meme among fans. What other fresh horrors wait in Forgotten Land? Maybe we'll see in the demo.
The Kirby and the Forgotten Land demo is available from the Switch eShop now. The full game will be out March 25.
