That being said, this is talking about what is on the way, which means there are some spoilers in the doc. Nothing super major, but that is something to mind while watching what Bungie has to say.
For the most part, the above video dives into what has already been revealed but in greater detail, like the Exotics and more on Stasis and Europa. Additionally, we've got a closer look at some of the locations previously shown, including new enemies and more on the new subclass.
We've also got a full roadmap revealed as well, as seen below:
The above roadmap reveals what will be included with Beyond Light and what will be free for all players, especially with Destiny 2 now being on Xbox Game Pass. With new additions also comes confirmations of returning features like The Dawning, Trials, and Iron Banner.
Season of the Hunt (Spoilers)
With Season of the Hunt, we're off to help Osiris once more in the Cosmodrome in order to uncover something odd afoot. While that's all exciting, a quick look shows the return of Uldren, which confirms a big fan theory (a theory very well supported by the events of the game) that the killer of Cayde-6 will be back and as a Guardian. This is something that has been heavily talked about since the Forsaken DLC dropped and it looks like those theories were correct.
The Awoke Prince is the latest Guardian to be pulled into Osiris' network of help while kicking Hive butt and taking names.
Bungie also revealed a brand new activity called Empire Hunts with Wraithborn Hunts taking place in the Cosmodrome. Beyond the upcoming expansion, there are at least two more story expansions confirmed over the next several years in lieu of a Destiny 3. It will be interesting to see where this game goes, especially since it is so different from what the sequel was like at launch.
So what do you think, Guardians? Are you excited for the future of Destiny 2 with Beyond Light? Sound off with your thoughts, excitement, and theories in the comment section below!
