Star Wars: Squadrons Will Support Flight Sim Controllers on PC

Star Wars: Squadrons' creative director has confirmed that the PC version of the game will support flight sim joysticks and throttles. In a reply on Twitter, Ian S. Frazier made clear that the newly-announced will support everything up to a full HOTAS (hands-on throttle and stick) set-up, for those who want a more immersive cockpit experience. Formally announced yesterday, Star Wars: Squadrons will include a story mode set after the events of Return of the Jedi (with both Empire and New Republic playable pilots), as well as 5v5 multiplayer dogfights and fleet battles. It will be released on PS4, Xbox One, PC (with VR support on PS4 and PC) on October 2. We'll see the first gameplay later this week, at EA Play Live on June 18 (which you can watch as part of IGN's Summer of Gaming).
