All Your Biggest Animal Crossing May Day Event Questions Answered

Some spoilers for the Animal Crossing: New Horizons May Day event follow. May Day has arrived! In real life, it’s a day that's had two very polarizing meanings: One honors the struggles and challenges overcome by laborers, and the other is an ancient holiday meant to celebrate the arrival of spring. In Animal Crossing: New Horizons, May Day is a 7-day-long event where players can travel to a distant island and complete a maze for some rewards. If you’ve already updated and logged into Animal Crossing today, Isabelle likely mentioned the start of the May Day Event during her morning announcements. Starting May 1 and ending on May 7, you can speak with Tom Nook at Resident Services about getting a special “May Day Ticket” that grants you a trip to a special island. He'll leave your ticket with Orville at the Airport, and all you need to do is speak with him to embark on your island tour. animal-crossing-may-day-maze-rewards-secrets-bell-vouchers-2This island is covered almost entirely by a maze and it’s here where the May Day challenge begins. The main objective is to get through the maze and speak with Rover, who's waiting for you with a gift on the other side. Players aren’t allowed to bring any items. When they arrive, there’s only a shovel, the maze, and some items you can use to overcome the obstacles along the way. The process is a long and complicated one, but we can help. Check out some of the most frequently asked May Day event questions below for detailed information on how to finish the Maze, rewards, and more.
