Final Fantasy 7 Remake: Watch Aerith Voice Actor Hear Herself For the First Time

Final Fantasy 7 Remake has fans of the original 1997 game around the world reliving some of their favorite moments in Square Enix's modern take on the game, including the game's cast. Some have weeped hearing Tifa's iconic theme for the first time. Others are rejoicing over the weirdness of the original retained in this remake. One person, though, was brought to tears hearing her own voice in the game for the first time as one of the game's main characters, Aerith Gainsborough. While recording her play through she reached the point in the remake where Cloud meets Aerith for the first time, and was immediately brought to tears. Just like the rest of us, then. As you can see, White isn't quite sure where to go before she realizes where she's at in Midgar and which scene she's about to reach. After the scene begins, White begins to cry after hearing the first bit of her VO work for Aerith, which isn't even words — just panicked shrieks. As the scene continues, Aerith actually says words causing the tears to start up again. She laughs at Aerith's remarks to Cloud's too-cool-for-you attitude as well. Yeah, we laughed and cried too, Briana, you're not alone. Not that we voiced any of the characters or anything.
