Update 7/8/19: While this article was initially published after last month's Pokemon Nintendo Direct seemed to confirm details listed in an old leak, today's new Pokemon trailer has further confirmed gameplay details that show the leak could be legitimate after all.
Most notably, the new mechanic Gigantamaxing and its ability to change a Pokemon's appearance has now been confirmed after initially being part of the leak. The trailer also shows off new characters named Chairman Rose and Oleana who were both referenced there previously.
